Anyone know of a product I can use to hang the end (air coupler) of the hose to the wall for quick access.

I am using Astro Pneumatic 2630 coupler on 1/4 coiled air hose. I want the hose near my work bench for quick use.

I can easily machine some plate steel to accomplish the job but if anyone has a better suggestion I am all ears.

I use a screw in hook that is slightly smaller than the coupler. Or leave your most used tool (blowgun in my case) attached and hang the tool not the hose.

Thats not a bad idea. Maybe I can find an off the shelf fork style screw in hook that could hold the coupler.

Anyone other ideas are greatly appreciated.

I zip tie one of these to a lot of my tools now (I take the keyring off first).

I've got a bunch of air chucks stuck to the side of my toolbox (and freezer). One is on the back of the handle of my TIG torch. It even holds up my angle grinders. There always seems to be a conveniently located piece of steel or iron to stick one of these to.

Thats a really good idea. I have some sugru (like playdo but hardens like silicon) maybe I could imbed a magnet into my are hose with it so it does not scratch any of the woodworking or metal working I do. and then just screw a metal plate to the front of my workbench for it to stick to.

Very cool idea. I'm glad I posted this thread. Really good ideas so far.

I just found that Matco make an air hose hook that is magnetic. Which is really just a fork hook bent at the ends and a magnet put on it. Hardly worth the $32 they want for it.

But it did give me another idea if I do the screw in fork hook idea I can wrap the hook prongs with air tubing like it does so it has a tighter hold that wont scratch up the air hose over time.

Here is a pic of the Matco Hook

I think I just found the perfect hook for this purpose. There is a company called Hold-it who makes organization things for the hose. The hold-it hooks come in small, medium and large. They are like a rubber band that goes in when you press the item into it and when you pull the item off they go back to stray. Here is a pic the coupler I use (astro pneumatic 2630) has a round pipe section at the bottom that should be able to use this hook.

You can buy these hooks at homedepot, canadian tire etc. They are meant to go on a rack but they can easily be mounted individually. And two hooks is $6.99
