Flexzilla and the like have to much stretch for hose reels imo

The traditional compound or even hybrids work better in my experience

In Canada, we are lucky to be able to buy a good quality Canadian Made air hose in two sizes. Princess Auto sells this hose.
princess auto used to sell Kuri Tec , tundra air hose . it is made in Canada and superior to every other hose I;ve used. Flexilla is not great hose in my opinion... . I've not sampled PA"s new line so I can't comment. I have more than a lifetime supply for the Kuri Tec tundra hose

I just bought this guy, honestly I wasn’t expecting to like it as much as I do:

Tekton is clearing out all their air hoses. Sad for the long term but a good short term opportunity to snap them up at a discount.

I've been hearing that for over a year yet they still have them listed.

I have seven reels/stations and a mixed bag of hoses among them, including three Flexillas. They all have worked fine. Where I found the Flexillas handy is in the paint room. It is lighter when spray painting and easier to keep out of the way from dragging across what I am painting etc.

I built out my shop with Cejn hose reels and air fittings, they're excellent. I've got a few years on them and they're still in practically brand new condition. I like that the fittings bleed down when released, so requiring to be released twice, and I like that it drives everyone nuts who tries to use my air hoses and therefore they do not ask me to borrow it, and of course it just so happens that none of my tools can readily plug into their lines (another bonus) which solves the other end of the borrowing problem.

I put them on the job site compressor and tools also, not specially for this reason but it sure does help.
