where's good place to buy a decent hose reel for my air line?

Also what if i need a short flexable line like 4 feet long. Can i make one or do i have to have it made somewhere. it wont be anthing special, just a normal air hose. can you buy them pre made?

Harbor Freight sells short lengths of flex hoses. How much do you want to spend on a hose real. Sears, HF, Northern Tool and Griots are a few that sell hose reels.

It's over with the hand tools section; the first time I saw it was right before Christmas; went to Costco last week and they still had them; I was tempted to buy one but I already have 50 feet of GoodYear rubber hose and a cheap HF 30 feet plastic hose w/reel ...

I have two reels from HF. The yellow 100' reel and a smaller one that came with 30' of hose for 19.99 on sale. They are both good quality and they don't leak. I've had the yellow one for about three years and the smaller black one has been hanging on the shop wall for a year now.

I have 2 of these from HF. I don't like to buy China Junk, but these have worked flawlessly. The rollers need to be wider so the hose would wind more level. Used them 2 years. They are on sale now for about 85.00. They have 50' of hose.

I have the HF auto rewind 25ft version of the one posted above...$40 on sale. I have 50ft of PVC type air hose on it. I recommend it.
Not bad for China stuff...

50' on the 25' reel? Do you think it would hold 50' of rubber hose? If so, I can't see a reason to buy the more expensive HF reel, as I would replace the hose anyway.

The Goodyear 3/8 red rubber hose that comes on the 25ft reel is big and bulky compared to my 3/8 PVC hose that I use. I did have to add a couple wraps to the rewind spring so it would rewind 50ft instead of 25ft.

Sears is having a members special starting on the 24th. I think it's a 30ft reel for $50.

I have a 50' Legacy from Tractor Supply. I was concerned when I first got it because it is plastic but it has shown to be pretty durable. It came with a ~4' leader.

Well, So ive been shopping around. Costco no longer carries there air hose reel. They said it was "deleated", and wont be geting it back for a very long time. All of Sears stuff Sucked. They only had the plastic crappy ones. The local tool store here where i live has a few different ones. They had the crappy plastic ones, a decent metal one with only a 25 footer. And they had there badass one, but it was 200 bucks. So it looks like it might be the harbor freight one, 80 bucks on sale. i looked allright i guess, good enough for my shop.

Anyways, Thanks for all help...... BRIAN
