The Arcan air jack is a compact and rugged alternative to the traditional hydraulic service jack. Once connected to a 120psi air supply, lifting is as easy as pushing a lever. The control valve locks in the air and keeps the jack inflated even with the air supply disconnected. The wide, flat steel base and internal steel support structure keep the jack stable while a powder coated finish withstands heavy use. The air bag is similar to those used in the suspension systems of semi trucks and is designed to provide years of service in harsh conditions. Safety is a critical feature in lifting equipment so we test our products to against the latest safety standards.

Air operated (120psi working pressure)
Control valve keeps jack inflated when air supply is disconnected
Safety valve prevents overloading
Tested in accordance with industry safety standards
Wide flat steel base for extra stability
Two handles for easy positioning

51 lbs?

I sure hope it has casters or something on the bottom. If I had to position that ****** under a rig I'd think twice about choosing it over a floor jack.

Other than that, I think it's a good idea!

Interesting.

But what if you stick that under a pumpkin? It doesn't have a "cup" to hold the rounded bottom of the pumpkin. Wouldn't it bend over and slip off while lifting? do I make sense?

:headscrat I saw those too.

Thought that jack would work great with my four post lift and the jacking tray.

I wonder if any of the Costco stores will carry them in stock so I can go take a look at one?

We use them at the body shop all the time. I have seen techs chain a uni body car to the pots and set them on the bent rail and use them to push up and straighten the rail. I have one at home and I left my 49 jacked-up a month, month and a half never moved. These are a little different but the same idea. The one you showed is a lot cheaper in price.

I had exactly the same thought, and ordered one today (the 1.8-ton model); will make quick work of setting a car up on my 4-post lift for brake/suspension work. Easier than bench-pressing a floor jack :D

 The exact reason I went out and bought an aluminum floor jack......34 lbs

I think I'm going to order the same one. Has 3 airbags and can lift 17.25" and it's only $20.00 more.
