not a lot of specific info on what it filters on the site . but i found a deal local with a few for sale and can get one for a good price i think . but i do more metal fab of cutting and grinding and welding and plasma cutter .

i know LOTS of filter units for sale are for wood based work and wont work good . but any real world feedback on this from members here ? thanks and have a good day .

Any filter helps tremendously. I have a home made unit I use. I run it for welding too and even with MERV 8 pleated paper filters it does a good job.

Noticed before I got the filter I was blowing black garbage out of my nose all the time while in the shop. Using the filter my buggers are clear so it helps.

I don't get the need for a HEPA filter like many recommend. You are breathing somewhat dirty air while you are working, it doesn't clean all the air immediately, so you are breathing some **** no matter. The only way to ensure you breather filtered air is a quality respirato, and that isn't going to happen!
