OK, the more I read the more confused I get. I have a 20' X 25' shop with an 80 gal 7.5 hp compressor. It is a one man shop that I do odds and ends in along with gunsmithing. I have a blasting cabinet and then need 3 to 4 additional drops. I want to use one of the Rapidair systems, but which one should I use and how should it be set-up? 1/2 inch rapidair, 1/2 inch maxline, or 3/4 inch maxline? Closed loop? 3/4 inch for the closed loop and 1/2 inch drops? I am in a very humid area so water in the lines will be an issue. Any ideas are great, I only want to do this once.

Last option sounds reasonable. Possibly with closed loop.

I have the same 80 gallon/7.5 hp and just ran loop 3/4 system of AirNet system. I used 3/4" drops and two reels with 1/2" hose. I ran a separate run to the blast cabinet. So far everything works great. Seems like my impact picked up 75-100 lb tq. The AirNet was very simple to install and not a single leak.

In my shop I ran a 3/4 inch main and 1/2 drops (all black iron). For the blast cabinet be sure to put a high flow fitting on the line to the cabinet.
