Good after noon. I have been sitting watching a crew of apprentices under the control of another trainer. Can some one clear something for me? What is the general industry standard for the air line fall. Meaning is the air line to drop about 1/2" per ten or 12 feet. Just want to be clear befre I say something

Unless you are trying to meet some regulation and inspection; I uaually just make sure I have a negative bubble on my level and water will flow downhill. I also am a safety nut so I won't use PVC etc.
I'm going to use the 3/4 inch Professsional Compressed Air Line Kit from Eastwood... Item #13600 http://www.eastwood.com/3-4-inch-professsional-compressed-air-line-kit.html
I figure less problem with condensation staying away from metal pipe. I have looked at the compressed air dryer at Harbor Freight http://www.harborfreight.com/compressed-air-dryer-40211.html and may get that. I haven't had a shop so I haven' t used my compressor since we moved but am building a new shop now. I have water filters I will use too starting at the compressor. Not sure yet how everything will be set up yet but it should work well for the humid summers we have here.
