Air line kit recommendations

As part of my garage renovation I plan on running airlines around the garage. Are the kits from Eastwood any good or can you guys recommend a kit what will work best.

I have run air lines in my garage according to the recommendation of TP tools and equipment. Their web site will show you photos on how to do it, and the filters you will need. This is much better than any of the kits you may encounter but it does cost more. I have no moisture in my air lines so this system works good. Metal pipe will normally cool the air down better, and you will need to run at least 25 feet of line to the first drop to cool the air down so your filters can remove the moisture. 50 feet is better and what I did in my shop.

The kits are good if there is a lot of obstruction and difficult routing, personally like a more simple manifold from 1/2 pipe if possible.

Thanks guys. We have a northern tool about 25 miles from here. May stop in and check out what they have. I know lowes carries the rapidair system which is the way I may go

The Rapid Air system is top notch for me. The O-ring style fittings are well designed and pretty robust, ZERO leakage is easy. And everything is so easy to change and reconfigure if you decide to. I direct buried a 3/4" RA line from my house to my new shop about 150+ feet away so all my house airlines would stay hot when I move my compressor from the garage to the new shop. I searched on Ebay and found a seller in Lincoln NE that had great prices and when I called them to ask a few questions they actually knew something. Ha I have picked up a few fittings at our Northern Tool Store, but I didn't realize Lowes carried RA, thanks for that. Good Luck

Apologies . The kit at lowes is actually a Kobalt kit which looks almost the same

I used rapid air for my whole shop. Install was easy and it is very configurable but the lines can and will leak especially if the line is old. I saw a great clearance on 100ft of RA line and when I called they said it was old and I would have to heat it in a dryer or oven to get it to lose the curl memory. I find after 3 years now that any fairly tight curves now leak a little at the connection. Usually I just push the line at the fitting and it stops but it is a pain. Next time I will use the 1" aluminum lines, RA's big brother.

Did you use the 1/2" or 3/4" line/kit ?
