Choices and I don't know what is best. I'm in need of 2 or 3 snub hoses for the plasma arc project for the regulator & filter assembly I have.

So, best off buying:
1) flexzilla 2', 1/2" id with 3/8" swivel ends under $20 thru the net, shipping puts it @ $23?
2) hydraulic hose with correct ends at a little over $23 made locally?
3) put up a wanted ad and have someone with an oetiker kit/decent quality hose make me some?

I've always just used worm drive clamps - with consistent success but have had failures - complete air flow stoppage and blown apart connections.

I'm after advice and I'm guessing that blown hose will not be the most reliable way to keep the plasma from developing issues with consumables, and possibly save some cashola as well.

Thanks fellas.
Bill

just go buy a decent quality air hose and cut it apart. use good high pressure hose clamps instead of worm clamps. you can get them at welding supply places or parts stores for fuel injection pressure lines.

If you have an account at Grainger do a search for "air snubber hose." They have various sizes for around $25, or less if your company gets a discount.
