I have a finished pole barn with drywall and foam board insulation. The exterior is metal sheet screwed into the horizontal beams that is commonly seen. I put a ceiling in and it is also insulated, should be around R40 in the walls and ceiling.
I'm looking to move my compressor into a smaller building that's nearby but am worried about running the metal pipe through the wall due to condensation. I live in western WA so it stays pretty temperate but in winters I heat the garage to 65F and it gets down to 30F outside, summers can be 90F outside and due to how much insulation I put in the ground keeps the garage at about 60F or so. (which makes me pretty happy)
I have active attic ventilation that kicks on at high temp/humidity as well as a vent into the garage itself to keep air moving a bit in there.
My concern is sticking a copper pipe through the wall in order to migrate the compressor into the smaller building, do I need to worry about condensation forming on the pipe?
