As I'm rolling around underneath my M37 trying to attend to some lubrication with my grease gun, I always find myself mumbling and grumbling under my breath about investing in an air grease gun thinking that it might make the chore just a little bit easier, especially not having to operate the gun manually while rolling around under the truck on the floor creeper. (I know, I'm getting lazy in my old age.) Can anyone suggest a brand that has worked well and reliably and you would recommend? If an air grease gun is one of those products where a higher price sometimes doesn't necessarily mean a better product (i.e. Harbor Freight) then I'd rather do a little homework first before I go out and buy one. Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I have Campbell Hausfield single acting one for like $15. If you are just looking for something to move grease it works. It will put in one pump every time you squeeze the trigger. It will only work if there isn't too much resistance. I would look for a good double acting one.

Do you realize that there are now battery operated ones? They are a lot handier than air as they can be used in the field away from air. The Milwaukee ones are good.

I have an 18v DeWalt gun that is awesome! I'm sure the 20v is even better.

I'd considered getting pneumatic grease gun for quite awhile. But I work on a lot of farm equipment. So one I don't always have an air hose near by. Two, not all the equipment fits in the shed so I'd have to pull the air hose out of the shop all over. Finally, the other flaw I saw was trying to pull the air hose everywhere while trying to grease things. Just seemed more of a pain than a regular old grease gun.

So one day I finally purchased a DeWalt cordless gun. I already had a good set of 18v so I bought just the gun separate in 18v. Not I can use it in the shop, out of the shop, and I can put it in my service truck for in the field. It works great. I wish I would've bought one sooner. I'm actually considering purchasing a second just to keep one in my shop box and the other in my truck.

DeWalt has a $20-off promotion running right now (thru June 18) and the 18V grease gun (DCGG570B) is included in the discount which comes out to $108 on Amazon, bare tool only. Sounds like a good deal to me. Thanks for the inputs and comments.

The Lincoln has a good reputation too.

But for the two to three times I pick up my grease gun every year, I cannot justify buying a cordless one, where I'd be replacing the battery pack every ten uses. That's why I own a pneumatic.

I've got a couple of the HF single action grease guns. Right now, I mostly use my Craftsman, which automatically cycles. It's still easy to blip the trigger and get just one pump in.

More important to me than the grease gun brand, is the Lock-n-lube chuck.
