Any recommendations for a decent air riveter? I need to buy one for my bunk project, but don't want to break the bank. Once this project is finished, I'll rarely use it. Any help is appreciated.

Seems they're all bulky, doesn't seem to be any kind of small or lopro setup...

Everything I'll be doing will be on an exterior structure, so it shouldn't be an issue.

I got one from HF. I think it worked flawless. I had to rivet some pretty stout rivets. I tried using a hand version, and I couldn't do more than 2 and had to take a break. Got the HF one and it did all of them with ease. It was 200-300 snowmobile belt rivets. If anyone remembers the 3 piece belt and cleat tracks of the '80's, that is what I used it on.

Saved my hands and was cheap.

A co-worker had a HF (he has moved to a new job) every one in the shop used it over a 5 year period and it had 0 issues.

I built my own camper and pulled at least a thousand pop rivets with the unit from Campbell-Hausfield (sp?) Five years later it still working well.

I stumbled into a Marson M-4 gun at a pawn shop--got it for $45 OTD. Man, what a steal. The thing works GREAT! :D

They retail for like $450 though, as they are industrial quality. Highly recommend, but pricey.

Oops, my fault. I did not realize it was for blind rivets. I am an aircraft mechanic so usually when talking about rivets I automatically think of solid rivets.
