I want to know if you guys hang your air tools.. it might be kind of stressful for the regular pegboards? I have seen a metal piece with slots cut so the fitting just hangs on it, anyone got a link?
I remember seeing a pic where someone had mounted numerous female quick-connect air couplings to the bottom of a shelf. Mounted all the tools on the quick-connects.
The photo may even be on this site - I don't remember.
I've looked at that Groit's one before and cannot help but think about the open ends of the couplings collecting dust and grit in them. Perhaps I'm overthinking things...
I also didn't like the open ends and the junk that WILL get in the tools so...I made this for about $15 - got all the QuikCouplers at the local Surplus City for about $1 each (top and bottom are different kinds) - 1 pc of 2" angle that was under the bench, some holes and SS Nut / Bolt & paint. It even works!!
With the griots idea in my head, wouldnt some vacuum caps work to keep **** out? I am liking this idea as well JumboShrimps (btw now I want shrimp cocktails for lunch.....)
