new to air tools... just got my mityvac vacuum brake bleeder that runs on compressed air...

was told by a HF sales that I should get some air tool oil for my air tools when i was browsing their air compressors... is air tool oil required? what brand of air tool oil do u guys use? and what kind of 'oil' is air tool oil? which kind of air tool oil is good?

how do you guys apply the air tool oil? just squirt some into the air inlet of the tool and use the tool?

thanks!

Air tool oil for a vacuum brake bleeder? No, you don't need or want that. Air tool oil for all of your other air tools, yes. I use commercially available air tool oil. I also use Marvel Mystery Oil if it is an air tool that will only get occasional use.
