I am new to this site, I too I'm a garage junkie. I have a 1390 sq. foot garage with a 2500 sq. ft attached house. I will post more pics and details when I get it cleaned out, right now you can't find the floor. This a great site and I hope it grows to help feed my addiction. I hope this was the correct area to post this.

Nice! How did you make that???

I just drill up through the cabinet and then used a US fine thread bolt. Not a perfect fit but buy slightly cross threading them it worked like a lock bolt. I also used lock type on them. I got the quick couplers from Harbor Freight they come in a package of five and they are alot cheaper than the others they have. I will get a part number and price next time that my wife will let me go in there. I got tired of losing my air tools plus now I know when I am missing one.

That's an awesome idea. Saves tool box space and shows them off at the same time.

<- Adds that to list of projects.

That's a nice way to hang air tools, and I must admit I never would have thought of it. That's also a nice looking work area, BTW. Oh, and Welcome aboard!

whats wrong with just slotting a sheetmetal angle?

I had a short piece of 1/8 aluminum angle iron that I had left over, so I drilled a few holes and used a carbide burr to slot them into a U shape. I use it to store the things that can be left outside like the tire chuck and blow gun.

I got the couplers some cheap coulpers at Harbor Freight they come in a package of 5 for $ 7.99. The ones I got said industrial type, basicaly the same as meltons, :eyecrazy:
they make so many different version that you have to make sure that you always stay with same type. So basically the cost of the bolt and $1.60 per tool. :bounce:

Also another thing Iwas thinking about doing was mounting them up-right on top of the work bench at the back when I run out of room under the cabinets.

Hmm, you might want to just do was we mentioned here instead.... get a peice of 1 1/2 angle iron, and make a U shaped slot in it... slide the tool in and loop it around and will never fall out on you, and its much easier to deal with than the couplers.

Jiust a though. Either way, thats a pretty nice setup ya got there.
