Ok. I need some advice for my shop. I am trying to run air from my compressor to my bench but, I don't want to either a) keep my compressor near my bench or b) run my lines through the ceiling because I don't want this to be permanent. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

How about a hose reel mounted near the compressor. Just pull out what you need.

I think a reel of some sort makes sense or just a hose. I mean, what other options are there?
