Air volume control valve deep well vs shallow?

Can I install one of these in my well tank instead of the zinc plated disc style with the tubing that goes to the pump? Im kicking around the idea of moving the well tank into the garage where the temperature is more stable and this will solve the issue of my on demand water heater not being able to heat water cooler than 55 degrees.
My well setup is the type where the pump sits on the pipe 3ft above the ground with the pump and motor on the top. The well is about 120 feet deep.
