What are the amperage and air cfm requirements for it? I tried a k4000 and don't have enough juice to get it going.

It does not need much amperage to use a battery is all thats needed. It is not a carbon airarc it uses oxygen and a consumable rod to do the cutting. Once the rod ignites all it consumes is oxygen. Check out www.arcairslice.com/
