I've used somewhat extensively at least 4 brands 18V cordless impact and although they are handy they are not a quality item and are pretty heavy and unwieldy with a decent size battery on them, Nevermind you cant huck them across a trailer or under a truck to the other side like an air tool and proceed to pick it up and keep working. I've been eyeballing the NitroCat 1375-XL and was curious if anyone has had any experience with it?

I have a 1250; at the time I bought it, not long after it came out, it was about the most powerful 1/2 impact per YouTube. I almost never use it anymore as I've gone to 20V DeWalt, but it still sees occasional use when the mid torque DW won't get the job done. If you are working on big stuff, air impacts still have real value.

the smallest truck we have at work is a 2500 Single Rear wheel, we have a fleet of 3500 Dually Dump's, and a fleet of Dually 3500 Moving Vans. Nevermind the half football field of excavators, skid steers, and other specialty stuff. I don't have the wrist to be wielding the mighty thors hammer 18V impact with 4AH+ battery all day running 8 lugs on and off and when I'm running full bore the switch delay on the electric impacts makes my eye twitch. Ironically in my situation I have an anemic milwaukee pneumatic (no idea how ancient) which I prefer to use for lightness + hog ring for retaining sockets and when the going gets tough I reach for the 18v makita.
