Hey guys. So I've decided to slowly start investing in a 3/4 drive set. I've pretty much narrowed it down to these two impacts due to combination of price, weight, and torque, but I'm having difficulty choosing which one would be more suitable for work on class 8 trucks. They're both about $300 the 1770 is slightly smaller and lighter. They have identical working torque (1400) figures but the 1600 is advertised as 1600 lbs breakaway. I even went so far as to message aircat with this question and was simply told to get the 1770, but was given no explanation as to why. I was really hoping I could get some reviews or experienced users of the 1770 and 1600. Any help with this decision will be greatly appreciated.
