I am looking to purchase a 3/8" Air Cat impact wrench. Can anyone let me know what they think of Air Cat? I work for a lawn mower shop and use snap on 3/8"impact all day but it is getting weak after 4 years of use. I need to replace it soon.

If you can spare the cash, step up to a IR 2115QTiMAX.
I havent used an air cat 3/8", but I have used a 1/2" for a long time.
the're really nice guns, especialy for the money, and the twin clutch hammer mechanism is SUPER smooth, but I dont think the're on par with the IR Ti guns
just my $.02

Please use the search button now and then. Cmon now...

I have an Aircat 3/8 here and use an IRti 3/8 at work. Like them both, I think the IR gun has more power, but at about 100$ more, Not worth it to me, Ill just step up to a 1/2 gun.

The rep told me that the impact I have is a trade in not a rebuild able one. I was looking at a MG-31. I have a Snap On 1/2 but it is used one or two times a week. The 3/8 is enough power for small engines and mowers. The Air Cat is quiet I like that. The price has me thinking MG-31 $350 VS Air Cat $140

I don't have a 3/8 aircat but i love my 1/2". I use the 3/8" IR 2115ti and love its incredibly small size and impressive power. I would say going with either the aircat or IR you can't go wrong

It is a good size for me. I run it 5 and 6 days a week. It is about four years old.. I will get the model no Tuesday and post it. The gun has lost it power now. I keep reaching for my 1/2" Snap On. This gun is nice but too big and heavy for me I can not find anyone that uses AirCat to find out about that mfg.
