Airforce 500i

I have been looking at plasma cutters for a while now. They have one on sale at a gas supplier I use and I think I'm finally going to take the plunge. It's a Hobart Airforce 500i. I am just trying to see if I can get any further discount through our sales rep first. I will try to post pics when I get it.

Does anyone here have one? I have read a lot of good reviews on it. I was just curious if any of you have one you could comment on.

I use an older and larger one at my side job but the thing is huge and needs some consumables replaced. This one weighs nothing in comparison and will be somewhat portable.

Well I ended up ordering the Hypertherm powermax 30XP. My sales rep did some research and found that the consumables are a littler harder to come by on the Hobart and the Hypertherm was also on sale for an even better bargain, and comes extra consumables too. So I went with it even though it won't match my welder. I should have it this week.

I have a 700i, I only cut up to 1/2" and it works great. Hypertherm is a great machine.
I went Hobart because of the deal
