Not sure if this fits in this category, might be more off topic than anything. But I found this really cool trailer that was used by the air Force to cool of the Jets

I have no idea what to do with it, but I was intrigued by it. Lol.

It has no electrical components so it looks like it work off high pressure.

Any suggestions on what to do with it?
Other than gut it and use it as a trailer around my ranch?

What you have there is C-10. It's used in conjunction with another piece of equipment called a -60 (dash 60). The -60 is a jet engine on a trailer that produces bleed air(high pressure, extremely hot air bled off from the high stage turbine) and electrical power for the jet. The -60 bleed air gets plugged into the C-10. the C 10 gets plugged into the jet's ECS. Enviro control system. It provides cooling air for the electronics and for the technician in the cockpit. So I am not sure if this C 10 will do much with a -60. They go hand in ahnd on the flight line.

Well, looks like you'll have to get a jet to cool with it!:D

That would make some cool yard art!

Not really overcomplicated - try scaling up that generator to 60kva, and to use the same fuel as the planes. A turbine starts to looking pretty sensible. Then you just put an aircraft-style bleed air cooler on another cart and use a waste product to cool things down. Simple!

whats the final goal? looks like it might make a good mini camper? The gages look cool, wonder if you can make back your original investment just with those.

Probably cost the Airforce a half a mil new and looks like it wasn't used much...

Those pipes and silicone couplers look like the might be just the ticket for the turbocharging guys, probably some good stuff.

there's some really nice parts that came out of it. lots of baffles, a nice turbo. the gauges are nice.

the plan is just to use it as a tailer around the ranch.

What you're describing (-60) sounds like something a buddy picked up a few years ago. Small turbine engine in a portable cart. About 4' long and a couple feet wide. He got it running. Not sure what he's going to do with it now. But knowing him, he'll probably build a rolling chassis around it someday.

Very close on the price! I worked for the company that builds those in SLC Utah.

Just me, but I would use it for a track trailer for tires, tools, fuel, etc.

I found the perfect use for it, it's a tack shack. I keep it out by my horse pens and keep their halters, fly masks, feed and other miscellaneous stuff in there. No saddles though.
