I just bought an Airtek compressor chiller / air dryer, model M20. I can't find any owners manual / info on it at all.
I don't know much about it, except that you plug it in and it chills and dries the compressor air. This is a small unit, and I'll assume that "M20" indicates 20 CFM.......but I think I read somewhere when researching it, that it is actually 18 CFM.
Anyway, does any one have any info on this unit? or perhaps the M30 unit? They should be pretty similar in design and use.
There is a drain, essentially a vinyl hose coming out from the bottom of the unit, that constantly hisses air when a pressurized air line is connected to the unit. There is no on / off valve to the drain that is on the outside of the unit, and I have not had the cover off to view the inner workings.
Is this drain supposed to constantly bleed air? It causes my compressor to cycle regularly to replace the lost pressure even when I'm not spraying.
Thanks for your thoughts.
