Ajax industries tool order, bait and switch on pricing?

On Feb 10, 2019 I ordered two angle plates online,

6 X 5 X 4-1/2 INCH SLOTTED ANGLE PLATE(OPENED) 3402-0203

(2) 38.77
Subtotal 77.54
Shipping 16.41
Grand Total 93.95

Later I get an email that they would not sell them to me at that price because of "The Angel Plate ordered on our website has increased due to Tariff Charges." I called and spoke with them and was informed the new charges took effect LAST JULY! The new charges I thought he may have been talking about might take place in a few more months depending on if the new 25% import tax goes up from 15% to 25%.

Basically they posted the price, left it there for 6 months, knowing it wasn't right when they knew they had an increase in price hoping someone like me, would roll over and take the increase and not question it IMO.

if u paid c-card... challenge the transaction. I did on a purchase of a engine that the seller voided the warranty during the install.

That's not a bad idea I guess, but more trouble than it's worth.

I just ordered two plates from another place for about the same as the original price.
