Akro-mils bin score

I scored 40 blue Akro-Mils 3.25" x 4" x 10" for $40. I work mostly on motorcycles in my shop so I work with a lot of small parts, fasteners, etc. I plan to use a bunch of leftover OSB to make a cabinet to just fit five bins wide by two or four bins high. Have two cabinets for the bins. But I know some people use the clip function of the back of the bin to hang them on a wall, or an upright panel on casters. Any preferences out there? Anyone tried one method and then wise they'd done it differently? Examples?

I've got my Akro bins hung on a section of metal closet wire shelving turned on its end but your ten inch long ones could have a bit of weight cantilevered from the clips.

Done it both ways. Using the clips with the steel plates usually has them too close together for my tastes. If you do shelves, angle them down and use a piece of stock on the one above as a pull out stop.

I bought 8 of these bin rails and have them above my benches. They work great.

I’ve got several of the louvered back panels in my shop. Let me get in there tomorrow and I can get you a part number. I’ve also used 2” x 1/8” flatbar spaced off the wall for hanging bins as well.
