How do you hang your bins? Is there a DIY method instead of buying the fabricated metal rails? Will buy if needed was just curious how others hang and if there is a DIY method?

My bad guys. I did search and didn't find anything but then I did a Google search and found this thread.

I'm pretty sure I got four louvered panels from grainger for $25. The total area these panels covered was like 4'×8'. This was probably 10 years ago though. If they're anywhere close to that price today I'd gladly save myself the hassle of fabbing something.

I am too cheap to buy the metal rails, or even the plastic ones. So I made my own.

Took some scrap sheet metal, slit it to something like 1.5" wide x whatever length I had.

I used the HF bead roller with the slitting dies. (they don't work well but tin snips worked too).

Then, I used the flange dies and rolled a 1/2" flange just deep enough that the bins hung with the metal screwed to my plywood stand.

Cost was zero as I already had the beadroller and scrap metal...work just as good as the store bought ones...
