Akzo Nobil Polyurethane

I had some Akzo Nobile Interthane-990 given to me a couple of years back. I was wondering what the consensus was about polyurethane for Garage floor coatings?

Great as a topcoat over epoxy.

WHAT ABOUT AS A STAND ALONE COATING? this is grey colored?

It is common practice to apply an epoxy primer under urethane.
It sounds like you want to skip this step and if you like holding a scraper or grinder for three hours, go for it.

Personally, I like to have fun on the weekends.

From the Interthane 990 Brochure:

1 x 50-75μm (2-3 mils) dft Interthane 990 applied
directly over an epoxy primer

I did not understand that the epoxy is a Primer. I was thinking epoxy coatings... I have no problem primering I was thinking about how this would compare with all the epoxy coating rage.
