Alabama 24x30 makeover -- The MR2 house

Did you alter the rafters to open it up or what did you do to gain heighth in the garage for the lift?

I just didn't drywall the joists where the MR-S windscreen comes up. Gives me a couple of inches to play with, but I really don't need it just for working on the car. The lift is only useful for SUVs if I use a creeper, but that's still better than floor jacks.

Can you take a picture of the inside of the filing cabinet to show how you're storing paint? Thanks

Here's a pic of the paint storage. Not a lot of cans, so I have drawers for black, gray, multicolor and special paint.

Here's a pic of the portable that stands 37" at the top. Just right for working under the car. Laying the light on the table is worth all the trouble to build it (not much).

Called her done and started working on the project car. Tearing her apart for parts for my rust-free 85. Finally got the engine on the stand today.

Not sure how i missed this build, great job on your working garage. Looks like you have everything you need for those projects.

Nice job on the garage. I've owned 15 MKI MR2s in the past and still have a few remnants lying around in the garage. Got any SCs?
