I hate posting these deals in a way because they'll only last for the first order, maybe 2 at the most. Post up if you get it!

If you don't need an MT4 keyless chuck, or you don't know what MT4 is, you probably shouldn't even click the link. I'm not sure if Amazon's random-psycho-bot adjusts prices solely on purchases, or also on views. I know there are some trolls out there who will click just to try to ruin it for everyone else, but I choose to believe there are also some good people out there.

I wish I had something that used MT4 or maybe was easily adapted, but I don't. Albrecht 73030 keyless 1/2" chuck with MT4 integral shank, Prime eligible:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B002KSFSUW/?tag=atomicindus08-20

The mis-spellings in the title are odd but it's sold by Amazon so risk is very, very low.

The same item at Enco is presently $280 on sale:

Post up if you get it! I hate to create these "feeding frenzy" things but hopefully it'll help one person get a great chuck at a great price.

I very much doubt that ANY Craftsman drill press ever used MT4. My big Powermatic is an MT3. MT4 is pretty serious machine tooling, generally lathes over 16" swing, radial drill presses like Fosdick. My 15" Leblond (albeit old like late '60s) is MT3. This is real machine shop stuff, not hobby/homeowner.

Thank you for your reply. What is the specs for the different MT's. And what does MT stand for?

Thank I was able to get one for the heck of it lol

I believe my press uses an MT4. I missed this the last time as well. If you find you want to get rid of it and are not trying to retire off the sale I may be interested.

EDIT: Just saw my DP takesa MT3 JT4

I was able to pick one up. Plan to use on HF mini mill with a 10$ R8 to 4MT adapter. The Albrecht is probably worth more than the mill.

A mini mill, eh? That's gonna chew up a chunk of Z space w an adapter. In fact w a jobber drill chucked up I wonder if you'll have more than a few inches? add the height of a vise and you're squeezing it.
