Thanks much! Its actually going on opposite wallGlad Don mentioned you’re building your Alemite bench. So first 20 to post on this thread get a ....[emoji12]
Since you’re taking color ideas, I’m thinking white with the top 3 or so inches green. Stars red and aluminum trim shiny. Another think to consider is the wall it’s going on. Like if it’s going on this wall
how will the bench mesh with the wall colors and lighting in the area of the bench
Already nice, going to be sweet with paint.

Too cool, great story! 37 cents a gallon, your dating yourself [emoji38]I repainted all my old original toolboxes in white and don't regret it one bit. I did uuse a warm white rather than a colder appliance white. Has a touch of yelo and red in in it. All theose detail you put into it will really pop with white. and some color ALA TEXACO. FYI as a high school kid I worked at a TEXACO and 1 of our service bays out of the three had a a service bench like an Alemite, I don't remeber the brand however. That was when I sold gas at 37 cents a gallon. With an oil check and windshield wash, tire check and oh yah the battery too.
Thanks Mike!WOW!!! just WOW!!! That is cool as can be!!

See it was your fault! LolHey that's mine it sits in my texaco station inside my garage lol

Thanks much!I paid for a couple of years of college wearing a Texaco green uniform; really like where you're going with this project. Impeccable workmanship and attention to detail. IMO, keep it true to the original color scheme.
Can't wait for your next update.

Hahaha.... Right? I was cruising along til the dang bodywork! Actually needed to take break and get the epoxy on floors. Hope to be moving again on bench soonIs this thing done yet? I just don't understand what's taking so long. It's a few pieces of metal, some filler and paint. Geez...
Haha your right, I'm my worst criticMVSS - Looks SO good.
DON'T shoot a closeup or half your adoring fans here will find out about those 30 years!
Ha ha, I bet you could shoot a super close up and there's not a damn thing wrong with the primer job. You're hardwired that way - right or it won't suffice. Can't wait to see the color go on.
Thank youVery nice, its getting closer.
Haha thanks much, I took a little break to get floors done in shop, I'll be back on it soonHey, that thing is going to look good even IF you get runs in it. Shoot it, it will be great.
Thank you! Can't wait for the next update. Super exciting project!
