A good friend of mine posted this bench I have for me yesterday. I have had it looked at and taken some better pictures. It is an Alemite bench from either the late 40's or early 50's. In researching I have had a couple of people tell me this is only the 1st or 2nd one like it they have ever seen and they believe it was only made 1 year. I was also told this was not a "for sale" item, rather that it was an incentive from Alemite for carrying their products. I am unsure of that, just letting you know what I have been told. It was my Grandfather's in an old gas station he had in the late 50's. It was passed on to my Dad, who has now passed as well. My Mom is selling it as she is selling her farm and downsizing to a smaller home. It is a great piece and the metal is in good condition. It has the parts washer in it and it slides in and out. There is currently a Reed vintage swivel vice attached to it and we can negotiate on whether you want it left on or off. It is 12 feet long and 6 feet tall. We are open to offers and have a good idea of it's worth, but would rather see what will be offered on it as we let it go to it's next appreciated home.
