Alen ams 12 mini split AC

I just ordered one of these units last night. $599 us free delivery and free install kit.
Anyone have any experience with these units?

I have received the unit and should be installing the unit shortly.It looks to be decent enough and the amount of features was a surprise. I see you are not far away from me.
I live in St.Catharines Ont. You can PM me if you would like to see the unit. I bought it directly from Alen in Austin Texas and had it shipped for free to my Post office box in
Niagara falls New york.

I think I'm looking for one with a heat pump too? I am in the middle of building a garage with a loft and would like to use this for A/C & Heat. However, if I go with a gas furnace, this would be a great option for AC. Great price too.

Heat pump is no good for our climate. Too cold here for a heat pump.
I went with a Mr. Furnace 45,000 btu and it works great. A heat pump will not heat a garage in our climate at sub zero temps that we get in January and February. Thats why I went with the Alen cool only model. It,s all I needed. I have the air handler installed and should have the unit ready to try out early next week.
