Hi.
Getting ready to start my 32x44 build, Finally. Its going to be off to the side and set back from my house about 25 feet with one side directly in line with the side of my house (hopefully). Are there any tricks to getting this alignment right? So that the two buildings (house and garage) are square to each-other and facing in the same direction?

Thanks!

K.I.S.S. I'd just run a string line down the side of the house and stake out the side of the garage. Then it is just a matter of 3-4-5ing the rest of the outline.

x3. set a control line off the house and use that line to layout everything else. G2J even supplied a visual aid.

One more thing - from the ground, unless they are quite close together it's basically impossible to notice. I put a fence in that looks perfect but from the sky it's very far off :p

I've used the string method many times myself. Sometimes later on, I wonder how I did stuff, figuring I must be smarter than I think. I impress myself, too bad I just can't remember it. ;)
