Wow, I only found this site be chance and I can't believe my luck, my name is John I live in Galway, Ireland, I am a self confessed petrol head proud owner of two self built Garages one in stone attached to our cottage and a bigger unit at the rear of our house, I love these, as I spent my life wishing to build my own garage space after years of lying on gravel at the side of my parents house, I hope to stitch together photos of the builds and post them but I have poor computer skills so my daughter will be enrolled to give me a dig out.
I have collected some old signs and bits down the years with pride of place going to an Areil motorcycles poster I found on a building site between drylined walls a G. Adams singed it in 1925 which i insisted remained on it when i got it framed, photo also to follow
Whats inside the garages well the car house has a 1970 mini coooper s, a subaru impreza 22b no. 396/400 1999 with 4,000 miles on it, and two ducati's a 998s and a heavily modified 1098s prepared by JHP Ducati in England. The back garage is more of a work space but is home to a 1980 mini clubman estate, a 1996 mini equinox, 1968 l.h.d. VW camper, a honda fireblade a couple of kids quads and a number of bicycles off road on road etc, it is also home to all my tools etc etc
So that's me I love all aspects of the site and intend to learn a lot and share what I can
