All older roller boxes

What do most do when the bottom of roller boxes are not drawers but an open space? All of my boxes are from the 70's SnapOn and Craftman. Open area now store trailer receiver, jumper cables grease guns and such. Any way to install a drawer unit in the area?

I bought an old Craftsman 3 drawer roller cabinet, missing the lower panel. I use this box at home, so I just made a couple of wooden drawers, and loaded them up. Works great. Now, if I can find an easy way to add a lock bar, so the drawers don't slide out when I move it...although with friction slides, the "friction" usually keeps that to a minimum.

I was thinking of boxes with slides by packing out the sides to allow the drawers to fit in the space. Wanted to see if any others had another solution.

Sears sold a drawerunit that fit in the bottom of the cabinet. I don't know if waterloo still has something like that or not.

I stack power tools in their plastic cases that I don't use much. Such as saber saw, drill doctor..

I only have that with one box, so I keep my old climbing belt there.

After the kids drove into it and bent it all up I just cut it off and made it a mid-box.

i have blow molded cases in mine that are large enough they wont fit in a drawer.

3/8" and 1/2" corded drills, and a timing light.
