And I've gotten some GREAT ideas. We've just moved into our house in COllinsville IL, and our huge 3 car garage has everything BUT a bench and cabinets. I've been looking EVERYWHERE for something that would work to what I would like. Great ideas here with old kitchen cabinets, cheap lowes and hd stuff. Then my wife struck gold. The following picture is in our basement:

We're taking that "desk" out, and the shelves out. I took a look at the desk, and it's fully enclosed cabinets. I just need to mod the outer end pieces to have one large lower cabinet instead of three drawers (top drawer would remain) and convert the inner piece bottom drawers to front opening cabinets.

Looks like all I need is cabinets to go on the wall, and maybe a full size side cabinet to go with them. I think this will work great and leave me room for my two toolboxes (40" wide and 26" wide full height cabinets) as well as the racing wheels for the Vette and Trans Am still.

Thoughts?

I did some searching and measureing last night. It's 127" long as measured in the basement, 24" deep to the front of the doors, and the cabinets are Kraftmaid which has a FULL line of cabinets so I can continue to add to the setup.
