Was checking out craigslist and saw a allen distributor tester for sale or the guy was going to scrap it. Went and checked it out didn't want to see it get scraped. Plugged it in and it works everything is there for it.It needs a new vacuum gauge. Then the guys tells me well I forgot to list it but that grease thingy over there goes with it so I tried to act as disappointed as I could. I handed him $40.00 and left. Got home checked out the grease pump it was about half full of grease changed the air fitting on it hooked up my air hose and greased half the dozer with it works great...Very happy with my first craigslist buy.... Now to start cleaning it all up.

You sorta ****!

Your Allen is later than mine, but they work, just not as well as the Sun.

And yes, the vacuum gauge seems to be a chronic weak piece. Mine worked at first and then went TU. It's a sealed unit, so not an easy repair.

Thanks I pretty much had it in my mind it was coming home with me even if it did not work. I like the old stuff also. I also like the scroll that it has with all the specs just turn the knob and line it up. plus he had a second spec paper for in it and for it being paper it has held up great over the years.
