Alliance username

I recently joined the alliance and was wondering if someone could please tell me how to lose the bold red username?

I do not think you can. That is how you are seen as an Alliance Member. Ryan would be the best to ask and if he doe not answer here you best send him a PM to find out.

What is wrong with the bold red name any way ?

Nothing really wrong with it, just seems a bit bold. I'll get used to it. Being new to the forum i guess i didn't want to stand out so much.

Well the idea is that your name stands out boldly in red as you have payed an Alliance fee / membership. You are not just a member and you also get discounts by being an Alliance member.

I believe you also get discounts via the HAMB forum as well.

When you get enough posts to become a senior member (50 or 100 ? ) you can go to the black bar on top of the page and click > User CP> networking>group memberships. ....

Click the radio button of your choice - either black ink Senior or red ink Alliance Member.
