I have been a garage rat since I was a kid stripping apart my schwinn stingray in my fathers garage. 30 something years later, I am still a garage rat just playing with my own tools and toys that cost a few bucks more than that green stingray. I have been in the car rental business for the last twenty years but recently helped my wife open a garage organization company called Zen Garage. We basically come in and transform a garage by installing slatwall, cabinets, hooks, flooring and all the other stuff the big guys do at a fraction of the price.
If anyone would like any help with their garage, drop me an email to [email protected] or visit our site at www.zengarageinc.com and use the contact us link.

Welcome aboard Ron! Sounds like a neat company. I'll have to poke around on your website when I'm done here. Two questions for you?

1) Where are you at in Illinois?

2) Do you sell these materials to the do-it-youselfer, or just install?

We are located in Glenview Illinois. We do sell to the DIY'er and prefer it. Spend some time on our site, let me know what you need and I would be happy to get you prices.
I would love to post some pics, but dont know how. Can someone host them for me. I will get the hang of this someday and hopefully be able to post some pics of some completed garages. You would be amazed at some of the before and after photos we have.

Ron, here's some info to help you get started posting pictures. If you need more, let me know...
To post pics you need to have your pictures stored at a site that has a specific address, URL, for each picture. I use www.photobucket.com for picture storage. It's free and once you get your pictures stored there, use their "Edit" feature to check size. You can resize your pictures to make them small enuff to load to the forum i.e. if your size is 800 X 600, reduce it by 50% to 400 X 300 which is max you probably want to use for Forum posting because of down loading times for those with "dial up" internet speeds. The 1st line under your Photobucket pictures is the URL (address) for that picture. You "Copy" that line and "Paste" it either into the text or your postings on Forum or upload your pictures for your signature, etc. To imbed pictures in your message text, click the "Go Advanced" message reply feature and then place the curser where you want to place the picture. Next, click on the Icon that's a little yellow picture of a mountain from the line above the shaded box where you type your text. A "Script Prompt Enter the text you want formatted" window will pop up. That's where you Paste the URL in the space provided and click on the "OK" button. Then you preview your reply before clicking submit to make sure the picture is as you wanted. Using these tools you can imbed pictures in text of your postings, as with the picture inside my shop, or add a picture to your signature every time it appears, as with the snow picture by my name below, and/or add an "Avatar" under your personal info to the left of postings area as shown with the small pic of the car and "Beast 2" avatar. It is best you use the "TEST FORUM" section listed on Garage Junkie web site's home page to experiment with posting your pictures. There are also some good help sources in the postings under the "Help and Suggestions" section of this site. There are many great features provided with this site!!! Good luck, hope this helps get you started... here's an example

All you have to do is take that link and copy it. When you make a reply (in advanced mode) click the yellow button that looks like two mountains. Then paste that link into the window that comes up. You end up with this:
