It's largely just a pipe wrench w fancier pivots.

Not sure how it'll work w fasteners that have no friction, ie free-spinning. And for simply holding a nut still as you spin a bolt from the other side (or vise versa). Overall it looks like a ***** in tight engine bays, that extra bit of swing to snug down will kill ya, kinda like oil filter wrenches that have to bind - the handle always hits something until you accommodate for it.

Interesting. On the surface they are attractive. But what Ign says is true. They are probably a gimmick and wouldn't be all that useful. I will stick with my arsenal of regular combination wrenches, reversible ratcheting combination wrenches, ChannelLock adjustable wrenches (re-branded Irega), and Knipex PliersWrenches.

Those are all gimmick tools being produced by that company. I rather have the good old proven standards of combination wrench set.
