Has anyone ever used or seen an ALM lift? I have an opportunity to purchase a used ALM alignment lift for $750.00 that is in excellent shape, and was used in a automotive small wheel alignment shop. I'm just curious if this is a good company, and a good lift?

I would grab it. 750.00 is cheap for a lift. ALM makes alot of heavy equipment lifts. I think its a good quality lift.

ALM was bought out (maybe 2 years ago) by Stertil koni USA (a division of Stertil-Koni, Holland). As far as I know, they are not manufacturing 2 post or 4 post lifts anymore, just mobile column lifts. (I might be wrong about that, but I know they had stopped on the 2 post lift prior to the buyout, except by special order)

They were a decent lift, just poor name recognition around the USA. I think I have one or two in the back that we might someday re-build. If you could have had it for $750.00, it would have been a good deal. All parts are still available for them...

speaking of ALM's I have bought a 9001 ALM from auction. picked it up and brought it home. after 2 years of sitting around, finally got it up. works great. went to pick up pallet with swing arms on it and found 2 arms for the 9001 and 2 arms for a 7001. Help, can anyone assist me in locating 2 swing arms for this 9001? maybe even buy the whole lift.

I’ve had one for years. It’s my favorite of any lift I’ve used.
