Very nice garage - you should be proud. Really like the shelf over the cabinets. Amazing how large it all looks with the 14' ceiling. Keep posting more pics!

Everything looks good, except your thread title, "Almost Complete." Actually, a true GJer is, "Never Complete." There is always going to be more to add/change. It's a journey not a destination. And when the good lord takes me you will have to pry the tools out of my rigor morticed hand, and you'd beter use the proper tool to remove them, or you will go to straight to Hell.

love it! Id like to do the same to my attached 26x26. Im thinking that would be alot cheaper then building a 3.5 bay detached....

only problem is, my gable is going the opposite way, and if i came off the back and would have to turn the gable 90 degrees which is no big deal, but i would be removing the back wall that my trusses sit on.... so i am guessing i would have to install a large main beam.

Did you use scissor trusses for the addition? I am wondering how you got an extra 3 and a half feet of ceiling height without changing the roof line. Any pics of the construction? Also, since the roof line is the same height as the main house, and it appears that the house floor is about 2 ft. higher than the garage floor, I would have expected the front part of the garage to have more than 8 ft. 6 in. ceilings.
The reason I am questioning this is that I am in the planning stage of a house/attached garage and want to have 12ft. ceilings in the garage. If I raise the house 2 ft above the garage floor, I will still need to use scissor trusses to get the ceiling height I want unless the garage roof is 2 ft higher than the house. (Same house/garage orientation as yours.)

What an awesome space. I love the cabinets and man to have that much head height to have a lift in there. The garage attached to the house looks good too.

Awesome addition, total 'sleeper' garage...looks like a plain 'ol garage until you get into it and WOW.

Love it!

The house is two feet higher then the garage you have about four steps to enter the house. Also the first half of the garage is Attic for storage and i cut a opening thru to the attic above the house no storage on that side. Also the attic stairs are placed in the center so you can enter the attic with out moving cars

Thank you, that explains it. Beautiful job, by the way.
