Almost finished 24’ x 40’

Hi All,

Just wanted to show some progress on my garage that will have 2 Bendpak 4-post lifts and a couple of fun cars in it by the end of the month. We built in 2017 and I pulled everything out last week to start drywall if this week. Hope you enjoy!

12’ walls, vaulted truss in the center. I built 2 “lofts”- one for my little girl to design as she wants as a Babe Cave “Hideaway” and the other will receive a “barn door” which faces west to the Rocky Mountains.

Waiting to purchase an air compressor for the 2 lifts and for shop stuff.

Nice job. I'm not at drywall yet on my 24 x 40 but we're getting there. I laughed when you mentioned the loft for your girl as I built a 6' x 8' observation tower on top for my grandson. Funny what those little ones get us to do...

Building looks awesome! Looking to do the exact same thing but with only one "loft" over top of the garage door. What trusses did you use and what pitch is that? How easy is it to access the storage?
