Finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel for this project. Problem is the 2.5 car attached to the house is next on the list. The back of the garage is a 12 x 27 apartment my eldest is living in. It features a full bath, small kitchen, living room, bedroom.
More cabinets are planned as well as a 4 post lift. We need to finish painting the trim and hardi-plank on the outside.
5" 4000 psi floor, 2x6 walls and fully insulated. Bought the wife a new refrigerator so I could move the one in the house out to the garage to keep the Corona cold. Three 230v outlets and plenty of 110. Added the solar tubes for additional light during the day.
The project was a lot of work but well worth it. My hat goes off to this site as it provided many good ideas.
