Ok guys have a quick question.

Ive seen guys on here do it. They modify there thrusses to make more room for there hoist.

What do i need to do for this?

Go see a engineer or just go to a thruss company for some new plans and i do the labour myself?

I paid for plans on how to cut it and reinforce. Mainly so I have no problem with building inspection. Cost me $250

Sometimes if the trussmaker that built the trusses is local, you can get them to do it for cheap since they usually save all the information that generated the original.
