Alternative to screwdriver for prying?

You won't go wrong with the "4140 skin wedge" it's tough enough for prying but very slim at the tip to get between two parts

If your struggling to pop small rubber hoses off metal pipework, I would highly recommend these pliers

Crapsman sells poor screwdrivers, but they work as pry bars

If ya have a hose that's stuck to the mount just use a cotter pin remover. It's almost like they were designed for it.
Been using one of these for decades, It's actually **** at pulling cotterpins..
