Alternatives to Flexzilla?

What's out there? I've heard that Parker makes air hoses but can't find them on their siteI like my Flexzilla but it turns rancid green in about 3 days and is impossible to clean
I have the 30ft Flexzilla hose reel that I got at Menards on sale a couple months ago. It gets dirty but don't all tools when you're using them? Though I admit I wish they were black or some other dark color!

Uhhhh, ****, what's that cheap import tool company, eastwood or something, they have one, and only one, USA made product, and it's a flexible hose rumored to be better than flexzilla.
Yeah but I don't have any neon green tools though

Goodyear makes a good air hose
uhhh... from the sound of it he wants to have a different color hose so it doesnt look as dirty as it is.
why not just find a way to clean it better instead of replacing it?? like a rag soaked in a mild solvent or something and clean it off section by section before you put it back when it gets too dirty for you?

Tekton has red ones sold on amazon never used one as I have a couple flexzillas.

- I rarely work on equipment older than 2012. Customers expect you to keep it clean. The Flexzilla tracks grease everywhere it goes and is impossible to just wipe off quickly.

Hey this is a funny coincidence....
I am actually going to be reviewing the Tekton #46615 3/8"x50' air hose very soon. It is 100% USA made, and is supposed to be good in low temps.
I will be doing another youtube video review on it once I get it in & try it out.
It is being shipped out to me tomorrow morning, so hopefully within a week or two I will have some experience in using it with low temps.

No, shop is heated. We sell a bunch of USA Tekton products so it may not be a rebadge...
Hum, the only Tekton products I've seen were hand tools made off shore, hanging on end caps. What all do they make COO USA
If you can tolerate the weight a good rubber hose would be nice and easy to clean. I have a yellow good year pro that wipes down real easily. The easiest to clean would probably be a PVC or some plastic variant, but flexibility even at room temp would not be that great.
If you just wanted a few feet of lightweight hose you could have parker make you up a whip. I forget what the material is called, silicon based I think. But they make a really light, thin and flexible high pressure tubing. Downside is it wasn't rated for real cold IIRC. If you have a parker store locally try giving them a call.

Yea I'd be interested to hear what they have to say about it. Nothing against Tekton, but just from a manufacturing prospective unless you have a super special hose it makes more sense to source the hose from one of the larger manufactures. From what I'm seeing online it sure seems reasonably priced.

The TEKTON hybrid hose is a USA made hose that is specifically for us. The hose is also assembled at our Grand Rapids location, along with our Goodyear Rubber. I've been using it in my garage since we released it and I've had no issues. The one thing I really like about it is that wipes down easier than the neon alternative. Nor does it abrade as easily getting pulled across cement.

Amazon currently has the 3/8 50ft. for $26. I've been working it pretty steady since I got it and I really like it.

Iv used various hoses from different manufactures and have yet to find one that stays as flexible as the flexzilla hoses. Im thinking about swapping the hoses on my service truck with flexzilla. I couldnt care less tha they get dirty.

I love the Flexzilla hoses, except for the color like everybody else. At the shop they look pretty bad as they get covered in grease and oil. Brand new their good cause you can see 'em and not trip. I like their water/garden hoses too, but again, being outside the color fades and they end up lookin like ****. Great to work with though.

Well I was all convinced to buy the Tekton hose...and then you guys throw out this Flexeel. Now I can't decide!

It was a spur of the moment purchase... I walked into the local Parker dealer looking for a pressure regulator and walked out with a new air hose. I saw it and just had to have it

All of my hoses are Goodyear rubber hose. Every now and then I wipe them down with a little thinner. No problems as of yet.

Something along those lines
That looks like one of those hoses roofers are always using.... not sure if they are the most durable hose for a shop but they are super light and flexible.
