I'm still trying to figure out exactly what the application this is used for. Was given to me by a friend to sell for him but I am clueless since the case not tools give much details on them. On the press it says "17/2 59330 SCF". Figured if anyone would have an idea, it would be someone on here! :rocker:

reamers look a bit fat for valveguides

There is a core drill in the kit for drilling out the old guides and then a reamer for final reaming for the OD of the 1/2" OD replacement guide. They are bigger than your standard reamer for the ID of guides.

I knew I had seen this tool before. I bought out a engine shop a while back and one of them was part of the deal. It has been sitting in the bottom of my cylinder head cabinet for a few years. Its a Lisle tool and part number is 59000. I have the instruction sheet for it. If the OP wants a copy PM me and I will make a copy of it and send it to you. The kit will put guides into most heads that have 5/16" 11/32" or 3/8" guides so will work with most of your older domestic iron heads. I have never used the tool so cant tell you how well it works. A good seat and guide machine is more ridgid and faster than this tool is, but if done right and the tooling is in good shape I dont see why it wouldnt work.

The lisle tool you had #59000, do you have another or know where one is available?

Do you still have the Lisle 59000 tool kit? If so, are you willing to sell it? If not, do you know of any other available?
