Aluminum can venturi?

Hey guys I have a extra large collection of aluminum cans, some crushed and some not and need to build a venturi to feed a 2000 # (poly type 36"X 36" #48" approx) bulk bag to take to the recyclers. ( and yes I know it won't hold 2000 # of cans) I'm thinking about pvc plastic, leaf blower, to fill the sack with cans. Need to build a hopper funnel type thing to feed with a shovel. Has anyone built such a thing? I just built the sack holder last night out of spare 2" X 4" and bicycle hangers on top to hold the loops on the sack. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Are we talking about shredding the cans or just taking them as they are into the bag?

If it is as they are, a piece of 6 or 8 inch white PVC pipe will pass the cans into the bag just fine.
Some plywood to make a hopper feeding the pipe should not be hard to build.

I think a leaf blower to keep the bag open is over kill.
A fan from an oven exhaust hood blowing into the hopper should be enough to do the trick.

Since I have one already I would use the blower fan from an old clothes dryer.
They pass a lot of air and come with about 3 feet of 4 inch duct to aim the wind with.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear abouut the leaf blower. I'm thinking of using the leaf blower to power the venturi and like you suggested on the hopper out of plywood and using the stand I threw together Friday night. Was also thinking of the white pvc pipe to carry the cans up to the top of the bag on the stand.

I guess I think you are making it harder than it has to be.

If you are just trying to fill a bag with cans from a pile on the floor,
then I would just use one of those leaf bag frames to hold the bag open and get one of those light weight plastic scoop shovels.

The cans don’t weigh much.

This is a bulk bag that I'm talking about and the frame mentioned above. I guess I need to explain myself better. Behind the fence are enough cans to fill a couple or three more of this size bags. At another location I have enough cans to fill another bag or two. The cans are in degraded plastic garbage bags and are basicly just on the ground. I'm wanting to build a hopper out of plywood as mentioned above and fill it with a leaf blower / vaccum thru a plastyic pipe and then blow the cans up into the bag.
Hopefully this explains what I'm trying to accomplish.
